This post-event moment is what really got everything going for Vibetastic.

At Vibecamp 4, I handed out 12 SenseCAP radios and tested real-world mesh communication in a crowded environment.

The tea room had 30–40 people moving around constantly, which made it a perfect stress test for message reliability, range, and coordination.

What I learned

  • Mesh is most useful exactly when the environment gets chaotic.
  • Distribution matters: once enough people carry radios, usefulness compounds fast.
  • The UX still needs to feel effortless for non-technical users.
